Uhm no. It says » This control has to be mouse related «; and you can use any mouse button (that is recognized as a mouse button, up to 5 on Win.) combined with any combination of ALT, CTRL and SHIFT.
Again this does not appear to be correct.
I have just had a proper play around with the settings to test if what i was claiming is correct.
I am using a Logitech MX Revolution mouse which i bought several years ago.
The middle mouse button on this mouse stopped working some time ago so i cant use it to.
This mouse has two thumb buttons and a leverwith multiple multiple mouse buttons attached to it. on the left hand side of the mouse. Left on their default settings within the Logitech profiling software the game tells me that i cant use these buttons for this function.
It was not a cheap mouse at over £70 when i bought it and the only way to get the game to recognise the any other button than the middle mouse button for this setting is to open the profiling software and then choose to assign one of the buttons as a middle mouse button.
The in game settings would allow me to assign the left or right mouse button for this task which personally i did not want. My mouse wheel also has a left and right hand button if pressing the mouse wheel in that direction and the game does not recognise either of these.
According to my mouse profiling software button number 4 would be the button on the top of my mouse behind my mouse wheel and button 5 would be the next button (on of the thumb buttons i mentioned above). The game does not recognise either of these buttons for me without me assigning them as a specific keyboard button or assigning them as a specific button ie middle mouse button.
