Настороженная реакция России на расширение сил Североатлантического альянса у ее границ абсолютно законна. Такое мнение высказал кандидат в президенты Франции Эрик Земмур, передает РИА Новости.

Политик напомнил, что Украина была русской на протяжении веков. «Поэтому понятно, что Россия не хочет иметь американцев и НАТО у своих границ», — заключил он. Кандидат на пост государственного лидера Франции назвал эту ситуацию нормальной.

При этом Земмур подчеркнул, что на сегодняшний день Украина — это суверенное государство, и ее суверенитет должен соблюдаться, как и суверенитет любой страны.

Ранее посол Дании в России Карстен Сендергорд заявил, что отношения между Москвой и странами НАТО не выглядят хорошо, но они могли бы быть лучше. «В двухсторонних отношениях есть проблемы, есть константы, о которых мы не должны забывать и над которыми должны работать», — заключил дипломат.

4 декабря американская разведка «обнаружила», что Россия планирует вторжение на территорию Украины, и составила карту предполагаемого наступления по нескольким фронтам. В разведке заявили, что Москва планирует привлечь к наступлению 100 батальонных тактических групп численностью до 175 тысяч военнослужащих. В Кремле опровергли указанную информацию.
